Deposits & Cancellation Policy
Folding Canoes Rentals: Since folding canoes are primarily used for long trips that are planned well in advanced, these boats are always booked in advance and require a 50 % non refundable deposit. Once we have received your deposit you are guarantied a boat for the designated period of time you have requested.
To guaranty your boat will be available for your trip we have taken the following steps:
- Your boat will be inspected and on hold in Fairbanks one week prior to your arrival.
- We hold an ample number of additional boats of the make and model you have requested in reserve. This added precaution is taken to insure that you will have a boat even in the event that a previous rental is not returned or if a previous rental is returned in a condition that is not satisfactory for further rental.

Hard Shell Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Guided Excursions: We stock an ample number of Canoes and Kayaks, thus a reservation for individuals and small groups is not required for half day and day rentals. However if you require a specific type of boat in which we have a limited number of, or if your group requires more than 3 boats, a reservation is highly recommended.
A 50% deposit is required in which a full refund will be made if you cancel 30 days prior to the start of your reservation. And 50% of your deposit will be refunded if you cancel 7 days prior to the start of your reservation.
Any cancellation less than 7 days prior to the start of your reservation is totally non-refundable.

Transportation: A 50% deposit is required in which a full refund will be made if you cancel 30 days prior to the start of your reservation. And 50% of your deposit will be refunded if you cancel 48 hours prior to the start of your reservation.
